Seared Ahi Tuna Salad
Makes my mouth water every time I think about this salad. We live in Salem and to return soon. Have you thought about opening in Salem, OR? We need a great restaurant like the Claim Jumper!!
Cobb Sandwich
This sandwich is so unique from the mundane sandwiches you get from sandwich shops. It is always so fresh and delicious. It's my definite go to. I have never been disappointed. It's delicious.
BBQ Baby Back Ribs
The Ribs: Classic fall-off-the-bone texture with a phenomenal classic barbecue sauce that packs just the right amount of kick.
Lobster BLT
I saw an intriguing item on the menu, the Lobster BLT. I love bacon and tomato and who doesn't like lobster either? This sandwich is basically very similar to a lobster roll but with the lettuce tomato and bacon. This is one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten, just superb I would highly recommend the Lobster BLT !

Roasted Tri-Tip*
Save your money and go elsewhere. Claim Jumper used to be known for it's large portions, however, ever since the Nickoloff's sold the restaurant chain, everything went downhill. The tri tip I ordered was sliced as thin as lunchmeat, with only 7 or so pieces. It couldn't have weighed more than 3oz. I took a picture of it, but unfortunately I can't attach anything to this review. The two sides I chose were a baked potato (butter and chives) and creamed corn. The "creamed corn" tasted like frozen corn niblets that were dumped in sour cream mixture and slightly heated. The baked potato was possibly leftover from the night before, as it had a burnt crust on the inside of the skin; similar to a twice baked potato and it came with sour cream and chives. To top it off, the house salad I ordered was supposed to have everything except tomatoes and cucumber. My salad arrived and it was mostly pieces of the core, some of the yellow pieces of lettuce that you find just before the core and a couple of green leaves and cheese. Nothing else. The blue cheese dressing is horrible! I loved the blue cheese they used before. Oh, did I menttion that I used to work at Claim Jumper several years ago? So I am very aware of the differences in portion, quality, and flavor of the food from the original ownership to now. It makes me sad because this used to be such an awesome place to eat! Only 2 out of the 6 of us ate their food. And that's not all. The last time we ate here was prior to a show we went to see last year, and the service AND the food were not good. Regardless, we gave it another try a year later because we understand that sometimes things go wrong, they may have a bad night, etc. Yet here we are again a year later and nothing has changed. This is the last time I will be coming to this restaurant.
Pretzel Bites
These are warm and served with a warm cheddar dip so good.
Spinach Artichoke Dip
Claim Jumper's spinach artichoke dip is hands down one of the best appetizers on the menu. It comes out hot, creamy, and packed with flavor. The blend of spinach, artichokes, and melted cheese is perfectly put together rich without being too heavy. The chips served alongside it make it even better so soft and crisp especially because the dip stays warm and smooth the whole time. It's definitely big enough to share, but honestly, it's so good you might not want to. A perfect starter that keeps me coming back every time!
Jambalaya
I had dinner with a friend on Saturday evening and not only was the Jambalay absolutely delishes the service was outstanding. Mandi was our server and she was so helpful. She was able to describe the meals, very attentive, helpful and intuitive. I hadn't been in for awhile and I forgot how much I have always loved the food and the service. I will definitely be back in soon!
